The project proposal for the new 1st grade secondary school in Via Pizzigoni, located in the Municipality of Milan, aims to create a sustainable complex, using innovative construction techniques and preferring natural and recyclable materials in order to obtain comfortable spaces in line with sustainability, respect for the environment and the continuous changing of learning methods. The project involves the demolition of an existing abandoned building and the construction of the new secondary school on the same site, with the canteen, laboratories and the new gym. Moreover it involves the rethinking and reorganizing of the pertinent open spaces, including the neighboring areas of the municipal library, the public park, the Nursery and Primary Schools.
