Marconi Square, Vadobbiadene

The recovery project of Marconi square in Valdobbiadene aims at enhancing this "open-air room" through interventions  whose propose is to reconfigure its layout with a urban, architectural and road redevelopment of urban spaces.

The project defines a new configuration of carriageway directions around the square to ensure the entire pedestrian area. Besides the project envisages a functional and aesthetic reconfiguration of the urban furnishing elements for an overall improvement of the image of the square and as qualifying elements of the space. The project considers local materials, such as Prun or Lessinia stone and enhances characteristic elements such as water, through the insertion of a new fountain at ground level, the Cathedral churchyard and the portico of the Town Hall as well as an enhancement of the space with the inclusion of seats, smart information totems, bicycle stands, design elements in floors and bollards.
