PISCINE&WELLNESS - BARCELONA AWARD 2019
Outside pool - Health Centre, Grand Hotel Terme di Comano (TN)
Piscina & Wellness Barcelona is an international award, organized by ITeC - Institute of Technology of Catalonia, which promote innovation and the sustainability of the swimming pool and wellness projects. In the 2019 edition it was awarded in the "Wellness Center Pools" the first prize for the new outdoor pool of the Wellness Center of Grand Hotel Terme di Comano, built in the locality of Terme di Comano (TN), based on a project by BIANCHETTIARCHITETTURA SA (Parent Company) with the Studies Atelier 2 and Digierre 3.
The prize was awarded to the new outdoor pool of Grand Hotel Terme di Comano with the following motivation:
“ El proyecto parte de un entorno natural de gran valor, del cual sabe extraer partido con unas instalaciones que participan de ese exterior. La sensación de abertura continúa en el interior, donde los diferentes espacios lúdicos están visualmente conectados sin sacrificar la intimidad. Todo ello rodeado de materiales naturales, líneas muy sencillas y a la vez sugerentes”.
"The project is part of a natural environment of great value, which becomes the main source of inspiration to integrate the installation with its context. The opening of the interior spaces towards the exterior therefore offers an interesting playful integration, without giving up the intimacy of the environments.
All made with natural materials, very simple yet suggestive lines “.
