An innovative way for accessibility and easiness

The Leonardo Project renews the relationship with the object handle directing it towards an expanded use as it is really usable by children, adults, the elderly or people on wheelchairs. A simple and "massive" design determines the smart forms of the handle and allows the user to hold it at different heights. An innovative and pleasing shape solves accessibility issues and the easiness of use without formal or psychological barriers. Leonardo won the "Vele d'Oro" Prize at Expocon 2004 and was selected for the 19th Biennial of Ljubljana, the Building Award, the events of the Milan Triennale and the Museum of Science and Technology, Design Paris 2005 Piemonte Torino design and also EIDD lectures.

In 2012 it receives the DfA Quality Mark (Design for all Italy)
