A transparent shell

The project was presented at an international competition, for the Trauttmansdorff Greenhouse in Merano. The functional shell merges with the bearing structure creating a unique system that separates the internal environment from the external one. From an environmental point of view the building is divided into elementary volumes, so diluting its impact with the building front. Inside there is a linear seamless path, accessible to every user, up to an overhead position to expand the observation points.
