The renovation of an old building

The project involves the renovation of an old building located on the edge of the old town of Nonio (Orta Lake). The site was composed of a building in two blocks: the first in old stone; the second, higher, built in the early twentieth century. The oldest building was rigorously restored in the newest building some corrective actions and adjustment only, while respecting the size and composition. The chromatic treatment while using tones related to the environment, wants to emphasize the presence of the tower volume.
