Reinterpreting the traditional building type

The building is located on the hills of the eastern shore of Lake d`Orta. The building, which stands on a terraced plot typical of the ancient cultivated sites, is composed of a main body for the family house and a separate guest suite. The two houses are joined together by a series of arcades and routes on two levels. The house stands on the slope, along the terraces, posing itself a bank at different levels. The buildings are completely covered with bricks reinterpreting the local rural building types. The windows at full height dig the wall, and entire glass walls arise in visual and spatial relationship inside and out.
